Comment: This book is very warmly written, and the recipes I've tried have been wonderful. (During these hot summer months, I could live on her gazpacho ... Although I usually prefer chunky versions, this one is unfailingly delicious, and the easiest version I've ever tried.)

Virtually every recipe is prefaced with a warm anecdote relating when the author first tasted it, et cetera -- which often entails mentioning other celebrities. Accordingly, this is a great cookbook to read, as well as to cook from.

I highly recommend it.

Comment: I love this cookbook. It is comprised of delicious recipes collected over the years -- each prefaced with descriptions, warm, amusing anecdotes, et cetera, making the book as enjoyable to read as to cook from. Everything I've tried has been delicious -- and, during hot summer months, I could happily live on her gazpacho. (Although I usually prefer a chunky texture, this is the easiest recipe I've ever tried for gazpacho, and the results are always superb. It has a wonderful flavor.) I highly recommend this book.
