Comment: Had this book recommended to me when I inherited someone else's problem cat who refused to go in the box.

This book explained how the kitty brain works! I was able to watch and observe my kitty, get inside her head, and give her a box she would go in!

You must supply your own patience of course!

Summary: Mine eyes have been opened...
Comment: Wow! What a great book. With a background in experimental social psychology and more than a passing interest in animal behavior, this book did a great job of applying psychological principles I've learned to cat behavior problems. Most times I don't find this in books on animal behavior.

I found this book to be really interesting. In fact, now I'm wondering if his is a career path I would like to follow. I think Dr. Wright's career is fascinating and intriguing. I really loved the way he first completely presented the cat problem to us and then gave us the solution he used. I found myself trying to figure out what the solution was before I read it. Alas, most of the time I was stumped, but after reading the solution, it made complete sense.

If you love trying to understand your cat, or if you have behavior problems, then this book is for you! It's a must if you are serious about your cat!
