Comment: I think this book was very helpful. I was new to horseback riding and this gave the basic information I needed to know, plus additional information I'll use in the future. If you are new to riding then I think this book will be beneficial for you, too.

Comment: This book teaches lots of horse tricks.
Some of the tricks include:
Caring for the horses mane
Teaching the horse to speak Portugese
Brushing the horses big teeth
Rolling Over
These are all great tricks, and I like this book a lot.

Summary: Great Book for beginners and Advanced!
Comment: This book is definately in my book shelf, because it passed my reveiew of being a very helpful horse book! I think that readers would probably have to know a little bit about horses before reading it though. For instance, if they said to pick up your curry comb, people who knew nothing about horses would be like, huh? So, don't go by the title, "The IDIOT'S guide to horseback riding", because it takes a little more than an Idiot to read it. :)
This book contains so much useful information though! After reading Horses for Dummies, I found this book so much better. I don't think I would have been able to ride the canter if it weren't for this book! :)
Read it, and you won't regret it! :)
