Summary: A very good, quick read. Not sure about accuracy.
Comment: I can't attest to the books accuracy but it was almost as funny as Catch 22. As a regular old agnostic with a degree in Computer Engineering and not much time spent in history classes I didn't find it to portray ANYONE in a favorable light. The previous reviewer states "The atrocities that these worriers committed ranged from skewing babies (not from hunger, but for tatse) as we learn from Papal papers, to taking up colonial residence in what is now Turkey and settling down without even having been to Jerusalem" which is what the book states as well. So what's the problem? Is this space for book reviews or political statements?

Summary: Fabricated History of the Crusades
Comment: The bookd rehashes what has been taught since the Crusades set course to occupy the Syrian Arab litoral region for purposes that were shown to be unrelated to "recovering Jerusalem" (as if it belongs to an Englishman or a Frenchman) but rather for pure military conquest and looting.
The attrocities that these worriers committed ranged from skewing babies (not from hunger, but for tatse) as we learn from Papal papers, to taking up colonial residence in what is now Turkey and settling down without even having been to Jerusalem.
The Last myth that revisionsts like Bernard Lewis and the Zionist gang he leads, presumes that Salah-el-Deen was a turk (he was a Kurd) and that as a result the liberation of the Arab countries were conducted by Turks. This suits the Zionist agenda of presuming that no Palestinian ever existed before 1950s. Of course, even the name lables Palestinians who were in Palestine before the first Hebrew tribe came over from between the Tigris and the Euphratese.
Read "Crusaders through Arab Eyes." A well documented work. It clears a lot of the evangelical and latter-day Zionist myth.

Summary: Author's Biased Opinions Against Turks
Comment: I bought this book because I wanted to gain an understanding of the Crusades. Williams makes this a humorous read but at times his sarcasm annoyed me. He uses alot of nasty descriptions regarding the Turkish warriors in the Crusades. I don't know if he is biased against Turks in general or just trying to add humor to his book but it really got to me as I am Turkish. Overall it is a good book if you want to gain a foothold of knowledge regarding the Crusades.
