Summary: Great thrilling ending to a great series
Comment: Taking straight off from the last book when Rae got the shock of her life that her best friend Yana was really the one after her all this time, it seems ideal that that she is having a normal life again with Yana now in prison. She can get through her high school years like a normal teen and get over her awkward fingerprint reading ability. And she can finally be with Anthony...However when Aiden shows up and tells Rae that Yana had escaped from prison her life is turned upside down all over again. Rae knows that Yana is her biggest threat to happiness but is Yana after Rae? Or after the agency?
I really liked the conclusion to the great Fingerprints series. I wish though that there were more books because it truly is a good series and there were more storyline. However this is an ideal ending!

Summary: Once again a book series with loose ends
Comment: I read the first book of this series a couple weeks ago and was charmed by it's innocent and playful youthfullness. The storyline was fun and the characters were attractive, which was mostly what kept me interested reading the next six books in the series. As I read each book I kept my fingers crossed that the last book would tie up all the loose ends, but I was diappointed as I ran out of pages and the seventh book ended.
The noisy english teacher and the pushy group shrink were never explained really, but just dropped out of the story abrubtly. Mandy's older sister Emma, who was implied to be a full blood sister to Mandy never developed powers and that was never explained or touched on. A few other dumb situations took place through out the series that had me saying "oh pah-lease" - Like why didn't they call Rae on her cell phone when Yana was holding her in the cabin? How did Anthony pass the placement tests at the prep school when he didn't know how to read? And the fake ID's they bought on their roadtrip said they were 19, so how would that help Anthony buy beer when he was in that bar -Not that he had to use it, but he mentions keeping it on reserve. Then there was the cheesy other stuff like how would Anthony keep finding Aiden if the government couldn't find him? And of course the final disappointment was when it all ended leaving you wondering which government people lived and which ones died???? And it also leaves you wondering who is getting in trouble with the police for taking the center down???
I guess overall it was a good series, but it just ends leaving you feeling unsatisfied and unsure.

Summary: We Finally Get to Hear Yana's Side!
Comment: Rae still can't believe that Yana, the girl she thought of as her best friend, the one who stuck by her and helped her rescue her friend Jesse and made her laugh, was trying to kill her the whole time. How could someone be so nice to her and so fun to be around and totally hate her? Rae hates herself for rationalizing Yana's behavior, but can't help but wonder what she would have done if she were in Yana's place...
Yana had finally managed to escape from Aiden Matthews and was determined to fix her mistake. Someone was going to pay for her mother's death and, thanks to Aiden, she knew it wasn't Rae's mom, but that didn't make her mother any less dead. Yana returns to the Wilton Community Center and starts trying to find out what really happened. The first thing she discovers is that she can't use her powers on anyone there, so she has to play along with the crazy Cascone woman in charge and pretends that she just wants to learn more about her powers.
Rae is totally freaked when she learns that Yana has escaped, but she has Anthony to lean on and she has to help Mandy, the daughter of another one of the group members who was still learning to deal with her powers. Besides, Anthony worried about Yana more than enough for the both of them. So both of them were stunned when they found out that Yana believed them and that she was going after the committee in charge of the experiments. Yana can't believe that Rae is willing to forgive her so easily for trying to kill her and keeps her distance. The only one who seems to be able to help her now is Sam, another G-2 or second generation psi-power enhanced person, who has little left to loose since he is so close to dying anyhow...
This was just a great book. I think it was one of my favorites in the series because all of the information is starting to make sense and the G-2s are finally ready to take some action and stop others from being experimented on. The author keeps introducing cool new characters while keeping the old ones and big problems, such as how to keep the committee from killing them all, mixed in with smaller ones, like Marcus hating Anthony for taking Rae away from him. It was great to see more of Jesse and Mandy and I think that I'm going to really like Sam because he can totally kick Yana's butt! Make sure that you read the first 6 books in the series, though, or you won't appreciate the story as much. Can't wait for another book to come out!
