Allowing for all sorts of metanarrative sequences to go unchecked it is precisely this unadorned pre-teen banter that allows for uninterrupted allegories between their various escapades and their burgeoning feminitity in a traditionally male dominated discourse, the mystery tale. One almost wonders what these two spunky twins could achieve in a predominately matriarchal system based on the give and take of human relationships instead of our needs-based patriarchal subversion. Kudos to the twins and kudos to their thinly veiled diatribe against oppressive systems based on capital and stature!
