Summary: Delicious Softcover Testament to the year's biggest film
Comment: Despite the inevitable critical slashing a film this big recieves, TITANIC is a wonderful film. A magnificent piece of entertainment. The book JAMES CAMERON'S TITANIC is a glorious testament to the soaring movie. The layout of the book is generally from pre-production then running through the whole shoot and post-production, with a focus on chronological presentation of the movie's images. Which, incidently, contain some absolutely stunning stills which are as exciting to look at as the actual film. The behind-the-scenes story telling is purposeful and rich with fascinating insight, laced with several hundred gloriously high quality pictures. There is elements which may annoy the cynics, like James Cameron's pre-chapter voicings of his moral and artistic aims for the film. But that doesn't matter, his words aren't nearly as pretentious as you may expect. JAMES CAMERON'S TITANIC is a delightfully entertaining and satisfyingly authentic supplement to this mega-film. Buy it, keep it in good condition, and rather than watch TITANIC on VHS ten tousand times, pull this book down now and then to remind yourself just what a great film it is.

Summary: Go see it again!!
Comment: First of all, congrats on the 14 Academy award nominations. Seems that we are all talking about the movie rather than the book. I've seen it 3 times so far. There are just so many things to see in this movie, this my experience: 1st time: mostly focused on the story. 2nd: special effects and story. 3rd: music, costumes, spec. effects, and acting. Like many of you have said already, I couldn' get it out my head for days after I saw it. It's just mesmerizing. The official website has a wealth of info, check it out at www.titanicmovie.com. Finally, I want to say this with all due respect to Star Wars: Lets make Titanic the #1 movie of all times. Thank you. Take care and god bless.

Summary: A wonderful movie companion!
Comment: "James Cameron's Titanic" has a little something for all different sets of movie fans. There's an incredible amount of photos and captures from the movie which will no doubt be scanned and posted on the net by hundreds of the movie's teenage fans (and those sites DO exist), while the way in which the making of the film is presented in words and behind-the-scenes photographs will surely please film students and buffs. The detail payed to the execution of the material is as meticulous and praise-worthy as the movie itself. This is a must-have for any fan of the movie, offering more than you could ask for for a movie that gives you everything you want from it.
