Summary: A Pretty Decent Book
Comment: I found "Locksmithing" to be a very good book for beginners and for pros. It gives information that I haven't found in other lock books. It's easy to understand. A lot of decent illustrations. I like it. I recommend it.

Summary: Rehash of instruction sheets from various manufacturers.
Comment: Although it had its merits, this book was primarily a rehash of instruction manuals from various lock manufacturers. Upon receiving this title I was sorely disappointed. I would recommend a beginning locksmith or lock enthusiast look to another title first.

Summary: A Locksmith Shop Owner
Comment: It's the biggest locksmithing book I've ever seen, and packed with useful information. It's a great book for teaching my new locksmiths and I use it for reference all the time. Also good for preparing for locksmith licensing and certfication. The many pictures and drawings make the book easy to understand. A lot of good reference materials, like key blank list, depth and space charts, lockset function charts, supplier addresses, glossary. In short, it's the newest, the biggest, and the best of the locksmithing books.
