Summary: A very useful book that I would recommend to anyone.
Comment: I am planning on taking the MCSE NT Server 4 Exam later this year and purchase this book to prepare. I am only through the first 6 chapters, but so far I highly recommend it. The main thing I like is that the book has exam objectives at the beginning of each section and I've been able to study the sections for which I need the most help. It's obvious that the book is written by someone who really understands NT. There are a lot of practice questions in the book and on the disk. Also, there are sample exams from Transcender, etc... that give you a real feel for the real exam.

I took (and failed) the exam once before. The questions that gave me the most trouble had to do with Trust relationships, especially which domain model to use in which situation---if you've taken the exam, you know what I mean! This book explained it very clearly and offered a couple of good tips to help on the exam that I wouldn't of thought of. I hope this helps me when I go back in the Fall.

Comment: *Love the CD version that allowed me to study while I was working. Excellent coverage of all topics and much more. Make sure you understand trust relationships and get your hands on the Transcender. The preparation exams from this book are very disappointing.

Summary: Save your money
Comment: It's tooo simplistic. Very few things are explained well, especially TCP/IP and subnet masks. Although it's not a specific MCSE book, I found Mark Minasi's book on NT Networking (Server?), more thorough and understandable.

I hope the CD is of more help in passing this test.
