Summary: Hero or Villian?
Comment: The gifted & touched by the Hand of God are rarely understood by
the ordinary! This book is work of love! Imagine being raised by a society where the very thought of God was a state
crime! Maria did a wonderful job in capturing her father as the
world was bend for war and lovers of war and not the spiritual and lovers of Spirit! Like the present day when the three men I
admire most is even a misnomer! The Holy three a Royal Family of Love, the Father, the Son and the Precious Comforter Mother the Holy Spirit! The Spirit of Wisdom & truth described in Proverbs as She when the male doMANated world of war & greed & lust for power is replaced by another male! So Rasputin bravely
stands as a man who sinned by found grace as there are no other
saints in Heaven because of His revelation of The Divine Family.
This set him apart while the rest of the world set off to war & oppress the poor! This is a book that asks Rasputin "Hero or Villian?" History is judged by those that write history but in the Eternal plan the truth will prevail!!

Summary: a biased account to say the least
Comment: I have read a lot about Russian history, especially concerning the last tsar and rasputin. Seeing how this book is by Rasputin's daughter, i figured it may offer a new light about him that had not been shown in other books i have read. Unfortunately, this went to the extreme and I found this book to be a completely one-sided account of this man. Perhaps some of what was said is true, and maybe he is not as bad as other sources have made him out to be, but according to this book, he did no wrong, and much wrong was done to him. Overall, i was very unimpressed with this book and feel that there are many great books available about this subject, and this is not one worth spending time reading.
