Comment: If you are a DBA this book belongs on your shelf. It is packed with platform specific information as well as sage advice from a seasoned veteran of performance tuning.

Comment: This is a good book for UNIX system administrators who support Oracle systems. However, unless you are an Oracle DBA who is really interested in UNIX internals, this book is not for you.
