Summary: Beautifully illustrated!
Comment: I can finally remember all the words to this lullaby! This book, with its beautiful illustrations, is a bedtime favorite for my girls, ages 2 and 4. They love to look at and talk about the pictures, and sing along or tell the story with their own words. The end is the favorite part of these big sisters - - the baby is finally quieted when his big sister catches and holds him. I would recommend this book to anyone! It also makes a great gift for new parents!

Summary: cute pictures
Comment: What a sweet book. My older daughter and I sing this lullaby to my younger daughter. The illustrations are wonderful - so much detail. I do wish that instead of using Papa as the subject("Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird"....) the book read Mama, but oh well. It's the author's version I guess. All in all, I would buy this book again and plan to do so for future gifts.

Comment: My 18 month old daughter loved this book. She can still recall this book though we had returned it to the library 2 months ago. She calls it "Papa book". I've just placed an order for this book, and I can't wait for it arrival.
