Summary: An excellent sourcebook for inquiry science activities.
Comment: This book is an excellent source for inquiry based science activities which meet the National Science Standards. The science concepts and inquiry based activities have been well selected for developmental appropriatness. The art activities used to illustrate, or connect to a science concept, are innovative and interesting. A broad range of art techniques and medias are used. Many of the art activites can be used as engaging performance tasks to access science concept understanding. I highly recomment this resource for all teachers who teach fourth to eighth grade students.
