Summary: Be At One With The Topological Cosmos
Comment: I used this textbook to supplement Dr. Cain's notes in a topology class at Georgia Tech. I found it to be an excellent introduction to the subject. Theorems are proved with clarity, and the exercises inspire thought about the subject matter. This book was the first place I encountered a proof of the Tychonoff Product Theorem. The proof was presented very well, in my opinion. In addition, there is no shortage of examples in each section. I would heartily recommend this book to anyone with an interest in learning general topology.
