Comment: this book contains text and black/white plates. There is lots of text dealing with the various stages of the wedding in ancient Greece. The primary focus of the book is decoding the rituals depicted on various wedding urns. This books only fault is its organization. It would have been nice to have the text and plates incorporated into one another, versus the tedious separation that exists
