Summary: The BEST Book ever!
Comment: This book needs to be published again. I use it when I teach a graduate class on writing to Sec. and Elem. Ed. teachers. They were so disappointed to find it out of print. I also use it in my H.S. F.L. classroom to introduce the chore vocabulary unit. It is great for any age. My mom and dad can still recite the entire story by heart. Actually, my mom wrapped my very warn-out copy and gave it to me at my bridal shower to demonstrate that she was "finally letting go of her little girl." I can't wait to share my favorite story when I have children of my own. Does the author know how much we all love it?

Comment: My mother brought this book home to me after a trip to Florida in the '70's. I was a young teacher in an integrated day care centre and read this book over and over to the children in my care. Their parents would ask me with glee,what I had done to motivate the cleaning sprees. For 10 years my classes and I memorized the book and "tidy-up time" became much more fun for us all! Unfortunately, the book's popularity became it's undoing-literally, as other teachers would borrow it, and eventually tape could no longer hold the worn pages together. I can not believe a book as funny, useful and entertaining as this could possibly go out of print- the rhyming rhythm still hums in my head 30 years later! "Jennifer knew, as well as you..." Thankyou, Norah Smaridge! Golden, please reprint this classic?!

Comment: I loved this book as a child. I so wish they would reprint it so I could share it with my Kindergartn class. I know they would love it as much as I did!
