Comment: Cookie Monster bakes some cookies for a Cookie Contest that are many different shapes. On the way to the contest, he takes notice of things that he sees with the same shape as his cookies. Each one he sees, he pulls out a cookie of the same shape and eats it. Needless to say, when he reaches the contest, he has already eaten all of the cookies. My daughter likes this book because she is a big Cookie Monster fan. It's great for getting the little ones to take note of shapes that they see all the time. The entire story is told through phrases that Cookie Monster says, and children love the way he talks. Be sure to enlist your Cookie Monster voice.
