Summary: Three's Company, too.
Comment: I enjoyed reading Come on Knock on my Door... A very easy to read book of what went on behind the scenes of our Three's Company as well what went on on screen. I got so into the book that I felt like I was right on the set of Three's Company, like I was backstage and later in the audience. I also liked the magazine cover pictures and the reactions to the actors and behind the scene people and they were very detailed with the Suzanne Somers vs. Three's Company constroveries and how her co-stars reactions towards her during the 1980-81 year. I learned a lot reading this book. They also did a where are they now profile on the actors as well as their accomplishments before and after TC showing us that there is life after TC. My only disappointment is, when I ordered the book, I was expecting these glossy, colored pictures but got black and white instead, I started to rate this as a 4 for that alone, but at least this was readable. I've only read this once, but I'm sure I'll back to it in time.

Summary: The Best Sitcom Ever Created on TV
Comment: Anyone who has watched Three's Company and other 70s and 80s sitcoms would love this book. Author Chris Mann is a Three's Company fan like many of us but he went few steps ahead to do the interview with cast and crew and did research to put it all in the form of a book. He was also interviewed on cable network E! when they made their own two hour show on this sitcom. It is sad that there were problems between the cast members, but I will not blame that on anyone; but I feel sad for Suzanne Somers, because, John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt distanced from Suzanne for an awfully long number of years. It is good to know that John Ritter reconciled with Suzanne few years before his unfortunate and sad death. Old wounds die hard and this very true when Suzanne Somers refused to reconcile with Joyce couple of years ago when Suzanne detected symptoms of breast cancer. Now John Ritter, Norman fell and Audra Lindley have gone and many actors who appeared on this sitcom have become great actors in Hollywood and TV. It is wonderful to read this book and cherish the memories and the great time many of us had watching and enjoying this show week after week. Thanks for the book Chris Mann.

Summary: John Ritter was a comic genius
Comment: This book proves three things:
1... Suzanne Somers is one of the biggest liars on this planet.
2... Joyce DeWitt loves pain, and loves to relive pain, and loves to share her pain with you as she's reliving it.
3... John Ritter was one of the greatest comedic talents in TV history, and possessed a fiercely strong sense of humor which obviously helped him survive the behind-the-scene madness that caused Suzanne and Joyce to lose what few marbles they started out with.
Thanks for sharing, Chris Mann! You've rocked MY world!
