Summary: No Salt - Just Flavor!!!
Comment: A great cookbook for anyone!!! Yes, I have high blood pressure & have been diagnosed as 'salt sensitive,' and my husband has had open heart surgery, so we have to be careful, but I have lost 50 pounds without giving up pizza, sticky buns, and chocolate brownies!!! This cookbook enabled me to change my lifestyle without having to redesign my cooking. The recipes in here are easy to make, taste great, and keep you in the mainstream of the food chain even though you are dealing with serious health issues. Don recommends buying a bread machine - who knew store- bought bread had so much sodium!! Anyway, I bought a bread machine , and recipes for the pitas, the breads, the pizza dough - all superb! So many of the heart healthy books do not understand that is not just the fat...many of us have to watch the salt as well. This cookbook guarantees that we do not have to give up the flavor and the fun of food.

Summary: Great Cookbook for Anyone
Comment: The "No Salt Lowest Sodium" cookbook is full of great recipes that I have been using for my family dinners. We don't suffer from the same aiments Mr. Gazzaniga does, but we try to lead a healthy lifestyle and have read that salt (sodium in particular), can be rather harmful to one's health. Upon coming across Gazzaniga's book, I was intrigued by the information and background provided on the impact of salt and sodium to the body. I have become a believer that even seemingly healthy people need to watch their salt and sodium intake. Since then, Gazzaniga's book has provided numerous tasty recipes. The book is well organized, easy to read and follow, and has a lot of good tasting dishes. Thank you Don Gazzaniga for a great cookbook!

Summary: Doctor Recommended It
Comment: I wasn't doing well with my low salt diet so my doctor sent me to megaheart.com where I found this book. The website was full of info and I clicked through to here. I bought the book six months ago and it's been a wonderful experience. It's great reading but critically helpful. Following the dietary plan in this book has caused me to improve impressively. Great book. Great Website.
