Comment: This book will open up your eyes to different and better sides of a situation. There were parts when I wanted to cry, parts I laughed about and parts that made me angry. Overall, this is a wonderful book. Sister, Sister written by Donna Hill, Janice Sims and Carmen Jones, demonstrates the importance of family. There are three novels are have different plots but similar themes. While reading this novel I realized that there would always be disputes between you and your family. An argument is not worth losing a friendship over. Family will always be there no matter how bad the situation. Sister, Sister focuses on resolving problems between sisters and mothers. Problems that are unknown as to why or what it happened. In the end, love will always prevail

Comment: Sister,Sister by Carmen Jones, Donna Hill, and Janice Sims focuses alot on family. I really enjoyed reading the novel. I realized that arguments will happen between you and your family. That is not a reason to stop talking to them or visiting them. You or your family member can die tommorrow and you will not get the chance to apologize for acting childish.
The novel has many problems between family members;some reasons for the problems are unknown. Sister,Sister demonstrates how important your family is. Friends will come and go but your family will always be there for you no matter how terrible the situation may be. There are three different stories that proves this point. From feuding sisters and mothers to distant mothers, love and friendship will always prevail in the end.
