Summary: If you like Stephanie Plum....Don't read these
Comment: These books are not anything like the Stephanie Plum books from Evanovich's number series (ie. "One for the Money" to "To the Nines"). All these books are romances and not very good ones.
In the first book, "Full House," you are introduced to Max as a child. The romance is not very original, the humor is not very funny and the story doesn't hold much interest. I pushed through, hoping the next book would be better. The second book picks up 20 or so years later with a knight rider car and other science-fiction like products. Instead of getting better, it got more and more ridiculous. I didn't have the heart to pick up the third book.
If you like the humor and characters in her numbers series, stay away from these books. They hold none of Evanovich's charm.

Summary: Don't Bother.
Comment: I'm sorry, but it was so bad that I had to stop reading Full Tilt halfway through the book. I was a little disappointed with Full House, but since Evanovich's Plum series is my favorite I decided to give her another chance. The first two "Full Series" were so bad, I decided not to waste my money on the third one. Just got the latest Stephanie Plum series and it was great. There is such a big difference in the quality of writing, I almost think Evanovich didn't write any of the Full series books at all.

Comment: A 2 star rating is probably too much. These books do not meet the previous Janet Evanovich level. I've read all in the Stephanie Plum series, love all of them, and anxiously await the next one to be released. I purchased Full Tilt and Full Speed expecting similar writing style. These do not meet her standard, I struggled to get through them both. These two were more like amatures trying to be funny.
