Instead of breaking the environment into sectors as resources (species, minerals) and sinks for pollution (air, land, water, groundwater) she creates a new approach, the Resources To Recovery model, which divides the human interfaces with nature into sectors (extraction, manufacture and disposal) and treats nature comprehensivly within each interface. This book is totally unlike any other effort to understand and organize our legal relationship to the environment and it deserves attention.
