Comment: This book contains some good recipes. However, you are instructed to can low acid foods in a boiling water canner for 2 - 3 hrs, depending on the recipes. Low acid foods should be done with a pressure cooker/canner to insure safety. I would not use the recipes for meats/low acid foods. The Ball Blue Book or Better Homes and Gardens Canning & Preserving book are better books to use.
