Comment: Wonderful book, a must read for cyberpunk fans (along with wetware and freeware). He takes you to the brink of total chaos but manages to hold it all together.

Summary: A light, enjoyable read.
Comment: Fans of the cyberpunk style of sci-fi should find this an entertaining read. Not a heavyweight such as Gibson's Neuromancer (my basic unit of cyberpunk measurement), it nonetheless strikes a similar chord along the lines of Gibson's Chiba City.
You can deduce my opinion of the book in that there are three books that I'm aware of in this series... and I liked Rucker's Software enough that I will buy the other two.
On a side note, it's a short read... almost a novella.
