Summary: Almost all Teenage Girls can relate to this book.
Comment: Fifteen By Beverly Clearly is a book almost all teen girls can relate to. This book can solve almost all of your problems. Fifteen is about a girl named Jane and all the obstacles that are blocking what she really wants. Jane is fifteen years old and has never been on a date, but she hopes to go on one soon. One day the cutest and most popular guy in school, Stan, asks her out. Her answer is yes. There are a few problems though; her worst enemy Marcy likes Stan. Her parents are the old-fashioned type. They don't want her going out with Stan. She goes on a few dates and on every one she runs into a problem. The book was fabulous except Beverly wasn't very descriptive. For example "A girl's voice interrupted Jane's day dream and she looked up and saw Marcy Stokes waving at her in a green convertible". She never described what Marcy looked like. " The green convertible" that's it. She could have elaborated more. I recommend this book to about all teenage girls, from 12-16; however for older teenagers it might be a little too easy. The book is one of kind. It is unbelievably realistic and that is very uncommon for books. If you like to read realistic books read Fifteen By Beverly Clearly.

Summary: A classic book every teenager needs to read.
Comment: I loved this book because even though it is kind of old-fashion, it has such a classic theme. Jane is a sweet shy girl who feels she needs to be some one she's not to make everyone like her. I felt so much better about myself after reading this book. Jane is a heroine you can relate to and one you can look up to. She's not one of those snobby girls you so often meet in books and real life. You really feel like you can follow her example and just be who yourself. Every teenage girl needs to read it. (and it wouldn't hurt some boys I know to lean a thing or two about how to treat a girl from Stan.)

Summary: The exact life of a 15 yr. old girl
Comment: This book was an amazing book by Beverly Cleary. It talks about Jane a fifteen yr. Old girl who is just struggling with regular teen age problems. She meets a boy named Stan and they start dating. She doesn't know what they are... like boyfriend/girlfriend, just friends, or dating buddies so she gets really confused. Her trials between her parents meeting her new friend and the anticipation of if Stan is going to call again for another date makes this book exciting and having the reader wait for what's going to happen next.
