Summary: slightly better than the first
Comment: I'll admit this book is better than the first, but it is still only an average book. The two qualities that stick out in my mind is the further development of Peter. Watching the path he is taking, well it is disturbing to see. The other gem in this book is Bradbury's short story, "The Sound of Thunder" which is the story that started this series. And believe me, after reading Bradbury at the end, you realize just how 'average' Stephen Leigh is. But it has made me curious enough to read the next book in the series. I'll let you know how that one turns out.
