Summary: Pretty Good
Comment: In all honesty, it's not the greatest book ever, and S.M Sterling is certainly not what you'd call a great author, but the link to the film franchise was too much for me to resist.
It's an enjoyable read, and, although there are many links to the first two films, it is not that essential that you see the films first, although it would abviously help. I also thought that the author tried far too hard to find places in the book where he could mention events from the previous adventures of John & Sarah Connor. It really didn't need so many references to the past, and it does begin to get rather tedious, but all in all, the idea of having Four Arnie terminator's, one infiltrator female terminator, and of course human 'Arnie'was an incredably bold step to take, and I think Sterling just about pulled it off. If you're a fan of the films, then read this book. If not, then give it a wide berth.

Summary: T2 And A Half
Comment: When it was announced that Terminator III was going to be made for a Summer 2003 release, I had at least one question, how was a much older Arnold to be believably inserted in to the story once again? This book handled that question in a very credible manner and placed a different enough spin on what is essentially a fairly repetitive storyline to keep the reader interested. There were also several pieces of information that help explain why Skynet ultimately runs rampant, and why its sentience was essentially poisoned.
The evolution of the Terminator was at the heart of the second film and again is a critical part of this book. More time is spent in Skynet's future than has ever been revealed in the past. The Terminatrix in this installment is again a quantum leap from molten metal shape shifter that ILM brought to the screen in 1991 with Terminator II Judgement Day. However if you want to know what this story offers the book must be read, for while the movie is going to have some of this book's idea's, T2 Infiltrator is not what is being made for the screen. John Connor is 16 in this book and in the movie he will be in his early 20's. And just like this book Terminator III will not end the story as it has already been announced there will be a Terminator IV.
For those who enjoyed the movies you will certainly enjoy this book as well. The next film will clearly not presume that everyone has read this novel and will present an entirely different tale.

Summary: It's ok.....
Comment: T2 Infiltrator starts out SLOW...It takes just a hour after John and his mother Sarah escape from the metal factory. So now, they head to South America to lay low and train and get prepared for what is ever throw their way. Then Skynet sends another T-800, but not to kill John or Sarah, but to protect Skynet from John and Sarah. So now as the story moves along, we then meet Dieter; a agent in South America where he is signed to capture Sarah and John because they are the most wanted individuals on earth; they are considered terrorist, and the U.S. wants them BAD!
Now the T-800 then gets a job at Cyberdyne as a security personel. By day she works at Cyberdyne, but at night, she is constructing other T-800's in order to kill John and Sarah. As Dieter gets to know Sarah and John, he gets locked into their struggle, and joins them on their fight against Skynet. Then just when they at least expected it, a T-800 is sent down to South America to kill John and Sarah. It failed. So now, they head back to Los Angeles to finish off Skynet for good. We then meet Enrigue again, she gets her guns, and they go out fighting. The ending is great, but I just wish that the book did not start out slow. Good book, but not a classic.
