Comment: I suspect, like absence making the heart grow fonder, the fact that this book is out of print makes those who find and read it enthuse so much about it. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, so great if you enjoyed this one, but I found it very run-of-the mill. It's a mad-scientist-threatens-to-kill-masses story (the villain is very reminiscent of Professor Moriarty). There are heavy overtones of 60s "Mission:Impossible" (two of the characters are called Phelps and Graves - geddit?). The upside is that the book is very short, and a very easy read, but I wouldn't place it above hundreds of other disposable thrillers.

Summary: A great classic thriller that you should look for.
Comment: Although it took me a long time to find that this book was published under the pseudonym John Lange, and then it took me even more time to find the book itself, it was extremely worth it. It keeps a great pace and is better than many standard Crichton works. This book should be reprinted with the Crichton name so it wil be easy to find for everybody.

Summary: Amazing, brilliant, chrichton!
Comment: This is a great read. After exausting all of crichton's other books, finding one I haven't read was exhilarating. To make it better this novel is just as captivating and ahead of it's time as all of his more popular or well know works. Buy it just for the sake that your friends will think that you're cool.........Punk Rock!
