Summary: WONDERFULLY MAGICAL!!!
Comment: I first read this book in elementary school over 10 years ago. It had such an impact on my memory that I recently bought it off of Amazon.com (...). It was worth it...I re-read it a decade later and had more fun with it this time than before! The story is about 3 children who are transported to an island through the means of a picture hanging in their house. It's full of adventure, fantasy, and excitement. As a child, I dreamed of being one of these characters, being able to escape to a secret island and explore all day and night!

Summary: Fascinating, how many ways magic can work!
Comment: Osprey Island is about three children who have figured out a way to meet when they are far apart during the school year (Vermont and Paris). The question is, what can go wrong. The magic can do some pretty wacky things that send Charles, Amy, and Lizzie heading into big trouble. This is a perfect book for all ages. Funny, clever and gripping, this book is a definite page-turner. I liked it because of the character development especially. A great book!
