Summary: The Pearls of Lutra
Comment: The Pearls of Lutra is a great book. It has a lot of action and is very exciting. It is about a hedgehog maid, whom is called Tansy, has to find the six-magnificent rose-colored pearls that inspire greed, passion, and deception before an evil, and evil greedy king does.To find the pearls, Tansy and her companions have to solve a series of riddles. I bet you that you would agree that his is a great book.
I like the fighting parts when the corsairs attacked because of all the killing. It was really cool to see the otters shoot arrows and to watch the corsirs fall. I also liked the part when Martin spoke to Tansy in her dream when they were finding the last pearl. That is a strange part because Martin is a spirit and that involves with superstitions from the ther Redwall books. That is what I like about the book.
What I didn't like about the book was the talking parts which seemed to me, very boring. It seems kind of annoying after a while, but I read it anyway to try to pedict what would happen next. These parts were what I hated the most. I like action and that's why I don't like talking parts. This was what I didn't like about the book.

Summary: Pearls of Lutra a truly magic journey to the Land of Redwall
Comment: Having just started my journey into the series called Redwall, Pearls of Lutra is my 9th read after Redwall, Mattimeo, Mossflower, Martin the Warrior, Outcast of Redwall, Mariel of Redwall,& The Bellmaker. Now like all Redwall books I have read, It started innocently enough, but then escalated into a plot so thick that you really had to pay attention in order to keep up during the ride, which made a very refreshing read and even made you think to solve the many riddles involved into finding the Pearls of Lutra. My favorite character was Grath Lutra, whose family was massacred when the evil Mad Eyes sent a crew to steal the Pearls of Lutra, I found that by the end of the book, I thought of them not as animals but as people and I was ready to aid them in the fight for good. Some old characters appear, like Martin, Mattimeo's son, also you meet the current Abbot, Skipper, and even a Long Patrol hare. I would, in closing, highly suggest The Pearls of Lutra fo anyone, young or old for an escape from reality.
