Having been married for 16 years myself, I found her words powerful and freeing. This book has inspired and empowered me with the energy to seek the next level in my relationship with my husband. Life can be overwhelming with the resposibilities of work and home. Yet, this book makes it clear that my husband's and my relationship can be the relationship of our fantasies. Communication and openess are key to accomplishing this sometimes overwhelming task. Each chapter offers ways to enhance these skills. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking the relationship of your dreams.

Comment: This book is so well written that you could read it in a day, but it is also a great reference guide. Something to put on your shelf and use for the day to day episodes of married life that can either make or break a relationship. Kathy writes from the heart; it is obvious when you read this book that her words come from living and breathing her own advice on a daily basis. The result is a compassionate collection of truths that can be incorporated into any relationship at any time. Is is sound advice for keeping the spark in your marriage and continuing to charish the one that you love. It is rare to find a book that capures your interest and your heart so quickly. But not surprising when you discover yourself and your own relationship intermingled throughtout the pages of this book. It is nice to get some guidance on how to turn these often not so favorable experiences into marriage-enriching triumphs. If you have the desire, the tools are all here. Don't miss this one. You will not regret it.
