Rating: 5
Summary: For anyone who likes to laugh!
Comment: Humorist Rich Tosches explodes on the literary scene with a book that is simultaneously funny and touching and introspective and funny and did I mention funny?

To enjoy this book, you don't need to be someone who enjoys flyfishing -- just someone who likes to laugh.

Tosches gives you plenty of opportunity with a variety of clever observations of people and life to laugh-out-loud humor.

After finishing Zipping My Fly, my only question is: when is Rich going to write another book? I can't wait.

Rating: 5
Summary: Spit milk out of your nose funny
Comment: If you didn't laugh at Rich Tosches' book, you are among the humor-challenged. His stories aren't only for fisherman, either. I don't stop laughing until I reached the last page, and then I opened to page one and read it all over!

Rating: 3
Summary: Could be better
Comment: I'll give the author credit for writing a book that's different from all the other fly fishing books out there. This book is funny, and it's meant to be funny. The jokes and one liners were nonstop. But, I felt that the humor got a little repetitive. I grew tired of reading the same phrases over and over again. Personally, I would have liked to have read fewer jokes and a little more of his introspective thoughts. For instance, I liked the chapter called, "A Tear and a Long-Tail Deer", which was about fishing with his kids. It was pensive, sincere and funny at the same time. It showed a little more heart than the rest of the book and it still made me laugh. I just wish there would have been more chapters like that one.
