Summary: Read it over and over and over...
Comment: I have not only read this book over and over, but I recommend it to all my friends and they come away with the same teary, totally impressed reviews that I have given each and every one of them.
The book tells a wonderful story of a child who grows to womanhood in rural America. I loved Uncle Haskell and (as a child) thought Aunt Cordelia VERY unfair to "our Julia".
As an adult, I can't wait for my own children to read and sob over it as I did. As with all books I love, I alternatively wish that there was a sequel and thank God that there isn't.
A definitely MUST READ!

Summary: Up a Road Slowly
Comment: When I first saw this book I thought it was going to be just another boring book. Well, I was wrong. After the first few chapters, I thought this was the best book that I ever read. It was a book with alot af characters that I could relate to. It also had alot of morals witch will help me in the future. My favorite character is Aunt Cordelia because she was like another character that I saw in my favorite show ( Boy Meets World ) Mr. Finni. Like Mr. Finni, Aunt Cordelia taught Julie lessons without really telling her and I admire her for that. This book changed my way of thinking so I recomend this book to anyone of any age because the words are easy to read and it is easy to understand.

Summary: The best book I ever read
Comment: My name is Scat ( short for Michael Scatena ) I am a 7th grade student at Wyoming Area High School that doesn't really like to read. After I read this book, I love to read. Now every day after school instead of watching tv, I pick up a book and read. While we were reading this book, I would take home a packet, and read ahead. Anyway I love this book. My favorite character is Aunt Cordelia because like my other favorite character in my favorite tv show, Aunt Cordelia taught Julie lessons, without really telling her. This book changed my way of thinking about people that aren't as fortunate as me. I recommend this book to anyone above the 3rd grade because its easy to read and its very easy to understand.
