Summary: Not too bad...
Comment: A Treasure Worth Seeking finds it's way into the category of pretty good. Not every book can be the best, and as usual, people tend to forget that. This was one of Sandra Brown's books that was written before she became popular and was written under a pen name. Of course she has improved over time. That happens with everyone. It's the old practice makes perfect line.
This book was a good read. It's not anything heavy and it's not a book that's going to keep you up all night. It's only 256 pages long and the print is pretty large. This is a great book for a plane ride or while sitting on the beach. Sometimes you want to read something that's nice and light, and this book suits that.
Take the time and read this one. I don't think anyone will be really disappointed. I know I wasn't.

Summary: A sweet one night read
Comment: It's true- there are 2 Sandra Brown's, there are the SB books that are full of suspense and relationships and then there are those SB books that have some story with them focusing on love relationships. She does a good job with both types. This book is a good "day" read for those that don't have the time to get real involved.
Erin, adopted, discovers who her brother is and flies to CA to introduce herself to him only to discover that he is involved in a bank theft and is not to be found anywhere. She literally walks into a sticky situation of undercover men scoping out the house and phone waiting to track him down. Lance, the fed cop that is over this case, takes Erin in thinking at first that she might be involved in the theft, giving her a difficult time. As he spends time with her his hard heart weakens while she discovers that she is missing something in her life as well. A sweet love story.

Summary: Some Treasure Should Stay Buried
Comment: I like Ms. Brown's works. This is a reprint of a 1992 issue. And, I must say I was disappointed. Thankfully, I have seen her evolve as an authoress with more depth in some of her later works such as "Exclusive" and "The Witness".
In this book, Erin is involved with a G-man who is also investigating her lost brother. Not much action here. Rather bland romance mystery-if that is what she was going for.
other reading suggestions: "The Ghost" by Danielle Steel, "Grand Passion" by Jayne Krentz, and for a thriller "Ashes To Ashes" by Tami Hoag
