Summary: Reading Specialist Praises Scarlett
Comment: As a reading specialist at a large elementary school, I was delighted to discover The Bravest Cat! The True Story of Scarlett. It is a wonderful book for children (and adults!)
of all ages. It paints a very real picture of a wonderful mother cat and her family. It is well written with a flowing
sequence of events. This book can be used as a teaching tool with any age child, not only for reading content but also as a
model for writing. I also thought the art work was beautiful
and was particularly touched by the picture on the final page.
This book has been chosen to be a paperback theme book for our
latest reading adoption series. I think that alone proclaims its quality and high value. I really would like more information on the real Scarlett. News stories, etc. that offer support would be great. This is a must read book for all animal lovers!

Summary: WONDERFUL!
Comment: My daughter and I LOVE this book! What courage! We saw the story of Scarlett on Reading Rainbow and fell in love with her. She's an inspiration for courage and is a great example of the wonders and wonderful creations of the Lord Jesus!

Summary: Heros come in all shapes and sizes
Comment: This story is based on a true story of rescue and a mother cat's love. I purchased this story for my six year old who is just starting to learn how to read. She is loves animals and would like to become a vet someday at least for now. I heard the story on the news several years ago when it acutally happend. I fell in love with Scarlet because of how she showed the world that even cats can be heros.
