Summary: Learning About History Can Be Fun
Comment: An American Tail is a great book to teach children about the largest immigration in history. The author uses animated characters to tell about the immigrants journey to America and the struggles adjusting to their new life in the "land of the free".

As in most Disney books the story ends with a "happily ever after". This misconception that everything ends up great is the only real negative side of the book. So, I encourage parents and children alike to read this book. It's a writing that entertains and teaches at the same time. A must!
