Summary: Compelling Drama
Comment: This is an excellent book, a very quick read. The authors do an outstanding job of capturing the South Texas Catholic culture as well as the personalities of all of the main characters. This story would make for great non-fiction, but it's completely true, the characters all real. Anyone interested in cattle barons, oil bidness, a little Catholic church history, and the modern day "Old West" should read this compelling work.
