Summary: Fascinating reading for the TRUE entrepreneur
Comment: I loved this book. Despite the handful of negative comments, let me tell you: they are simply wrong. The commenters seem more to judge the author, as opposed to the book itself. This book is actually quite good. I really enjoyed reading about the author's entrepreneurial adventures and how he bootstrapped himself through it all. You will learn from it, and it may give you some inspiration. This is a "real world" entrepreneur's story, unlike so much of the bloated theory you see in other books out there. I've bought thousands of 'theory' books over the years, so when I spot something like this, it's a real treat. If you love the idea of being an entrepreneur, and want to learn from someone who has done it, by all means, get this book. I think you'll thoroughly enjoy it, as I did.

Summary: Worthless.
Comment: You're probably like me, in that you have a lot of great business ideas but seem to have no access to the capital to start any of them rolling. So the title of this book jumps out at you, and you think "Hey, maybe this clown knows something I don't know about scaring up some capital funding!"
Well, he doesn't. I can't believe this book got published. It reveals only two things about raising capital in the real world: Jack and sh**..... and Jack left town.
In the fairy-land of make believe this author apparently lives in, you can get appointments with angel investors who will throw bundles of cash at you over a cocktail without even reading your business plan. What a load of rubbish. Try that in the real world. You might as well try to sprinkle fairy dust all over yourself, think happy thoughts, and jump off a clock tower hoping to fly. You'll have about the same level of success.
This book sucks. I'd give my copy away, but I don't want it to end up disappointing someone else the way it did me.... maybe I'll just throw it in the dumpster with the rest of the rubbish.

Summary: A Frightening Look Behind The Curtain
Comment: Wow. This guy left a wake of bankrupt investors, angry customers & employees (and all for good reason), everywhere he went!
He frequently spends money he hasn't earned and creatively parlays it until the house of cards collapses. And this happends over and over again.
Somehow, out of decades of disasters..., a business emerges that he sells for a lot of money.
What I took away from the book is that Terry has more business experiences than nearly anybody - but he still hasn't learned anything from it!
He got lucky 1 time out of 50 and wrote a book.
I finished the book still looking for the "invaluable lessons", but gave it 2 starts because it is an engaging read.
