Comment: I first came across Telford during my Postgraduate days in Nigeria. It's has been my second bible ever since. It's a classical book in Applied Geophysics. It has no rival. I would encourage geophysicists world-wide to have a second look at the book, especially, professionals, postgraduate and undergraduate students. It's complete with modern references in Applied Geophysics.
