Comment: I absolutely love the story "My Yellow Ball". As a kindergarten teacher we begin the school year reviewing colors. I love using this book to review the color "yellow". Not only is the story captivating for my four and five year old students but the illustrations really emphasize the colors. The pictures are almost all illustrated in black and white except that darn yellow ball. The yellow ball travels to such great lenghts in the imagination of a young child. The yellow ball is thrown so hard that it shows up in the most perculiar places. The illustrations make you laugh and the text can become quite familiar and should be enjoyed by young children. As a teacher there were lots of lessons that I can aquire from this book. I was so sorry to see that the book is out of print, thank goodness for libraries.
