Summary: "Night vision" or, I would say, "Die hard XXIII"?
Comment: If you are not sick and tired of these knights who, with nothing but a toothpick and a cigarette lighter can do what the entire police commandos can't, well... this might be your book. I've found the book so predictable that I could write the end by heart, even without reading the last 5 chapters.

Rating: 5
Summary: Satisfyingly creepy and complex
Comment: This is the first Munson book I've read, and because of it I can't wait to read his others. If they are as satisfying as _Night Vision_, let alone better, I will be officially hooked. What a treasure this book is! I was quickly sucked in by the wonderful combination of a suave, sexy, evil villain we might never recognize to pass on the street, a clever, likable victim you can't help but cheer for, and a plot that is too plausible not to be terrifying.

There were a few negatives about this work. Mainly, certain elements of the plot were predictable--to say which would be a spoiler, but you'll know when you see them. Also, some of the techno-speak is hard to wade through if you're not familiar with it. But I find those negatives are greatly outweighed by the positives--all in all _Night Vision_ gave a suspenseful, satisfying read, where I found myself doing some things I rarely do: Admonishing the characters out loud (alarming my seatmates on the bus!), and actually putting the book aside at some very exciting parts, just to drag out the suspense for longer. The tension-filled payoff was well worth it!

My only wish now is that some visionary will turn Night Vision into a miniseries. It would be a stunner! But read the book first.

Summary: Deep Inside The System, A BEAST lurks...
Comment: This is Ronald Munson's third book. And although not as good as his first two, it is still a must read. Cyberwolf is a hacker. He knows the internet better than anyone. His obsession with dead bodies and movie stars, is his reason for being so ingenius. Susan Bradstreet is Hollywood's biggest star, when she collapses on the set, she is diagnosed with anxiety attacks, by Dr David Hightower, an attractive man whom she wants for herself. For treatment she is flown to Boston's RUSH PSYCHIATRIC CLINIC. Cyberwolf follows as well. He has decided to hold the superstar for ransom, as well as the whole clinic. To make sure that he gets the ransom money, and escapes alive, Cyberwolf has programmed a virus to be released at 3:30 AM the following day that will flood the phone systems, and radio systems that run off of the NYNEX system...That would cause several hundred deaths, and the only way to shut it off, would be for Cyberwolf to get to it... All in All, it's a little too predictable, but it still is a good read. By The Author of FAN MAIL
