Comment: having served in the marines,i had lots of encounters with sailors. partying/drinking or fighting [sometimes all 3!!]was a way of life.wish i could have traveled with daljan!!
the adventures/situations/dialogue never stop..savor the book,don't read it in one sitting. sure looking forward to the next book!....get busy andy!!

Summary: A must read!
Comment: I have never been in the military but this book gave me a birds eyes view of what it must be like. There is plenty of humor to keep the reader interested as you follow Daljan from bootcamp through his naval career. This would be a great book for military people wanting a book that tells it like it is.

Summary: The Other Side of a Sailor
Comment: Hilarious, refreshing and fun to read. As Jand stated "each chapter is a story within a story". I read a chapter each day when I got home from work. I couldn't wait to get home each day to read the next chapter. Finally someone wrote the story of what naval life is really like 99.9 percent of the time. With a career spanning 20 years we have only begun to enjoy the stories of "DALJAN". Mr. Anderson : Don't you dare stop now! We "your fans" are ANXIOUSLY awaiting the further adventures of "DALJAN!
