Comment: Be Alert!! This book skips steps in the explanations. Plus, when Stewart uses u & v for substitution variables in his examples, the solutions manual uses w & x. Confusing! I spend a good deal of time rewriting the solutions using the variables that Stewart used, plus filling in the steps that were omitted.
