Summary: Great techniques for prevention of food allergies
Comment: I have reviewed several books about this topic and found this one to be the most informative, easy to read, and evidence-based. I especially like the way they introduce recipes and advise how to transition the recipes from baby to toddler to child. Some of the recipes are great for adults too! Great book with important information.

Summary: Great book for making healthy baby food at home.
Comment: This book points out that baby food made at home tastes better and smells better than food from a jar. Do the taste test and see. Also I like the idea that the transition to table food will be easier since it tastes more like the food baby has been eating for months. Great chart in the back to keep track of when to introduce food and baby's reaction to them. There are three catagories of foods: purees, spoon and finger foods for bigger babies, and table foods for toddlers and grown-ups, too. How can you go wrong!

Summary: Excellent book for beginning eaters
Comment: My mother gave me this book after my first son was born, and it helped me immensely! As a first time mommy, I wasn't sure how to go about feeding my son...what to start him on, what to introduce and when, etc. etc. I found the food introduction chart in the back very helpful, and the beginning feeder recipes were excellent. My son loved the applesauce, bannansauce and even the vegetables. After I had my daughter and it was time for her to start, down came the book again. However, I don't care too much for many of the other recipes that are included for toddlers/family. These recipes are more gourmet type with gourmet ingredients than plain old (and quick) family fare. Gourmet notwithstanding....it is an excellent book!
