Summary: How To Eat Fried Worms
Comment: How to eat Fried Worms,a story by Thomas Rockwell. This book is about four boys named Billy,Tom,Joe,and Alan. Billy is a dare devil. He makes a bet he'll never forget. His bet is to eat 15 worms in 15 days. Will he do it and get 50 dollars or chicken out and pay the price? Read the book to find out. I'll give this book five stars.

Summary: 8 year old girl loves this book!
Comment: The book I am writing about is How To Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell. It has 128 pages and the Illustrator is Emily McCully. The copyright date is 1973.
The book was mostly set in the boys' neighborhood. It took place in the present. Some of the main characters in the story were Billy, Tom, Joe, and Alen. Billy was brave, chunky and had a lot of freckles. Tom was tall, skinny and serious. Joe was small, dark haired and he had brown eyes. Alen had red hair, he was small and knobby-kneed.
I think that the most important five things in the book are when the boys made the bet that Billy could not eat fifteen worms in fifteen days, that Billy would win 50 dollars if he ate all the worms, when the boys tried to trick Billy into not eating a worm, when Billy got the fake letter from Alen and Joe, and when Billy ate the last worm winning the bet!
I loved this book. I liked it because it was funny. One thing that was funny was when Alen said "Luddes and gintlemen"! It was also funny when Billy, Tom, Alen and Joe had a very dirty mud fight. One thing I did not like about the book was that Billy's tried to trick him into not eating a worm. I would recommend this book to anyone who picks it up, just because I love it!

Summary: Just a good book for kids to read
Comment: My 7 year old son enjoyed this book as one we read together. Some of the dialect I had to explain to him, but obviously with the subject matter, how can you go wrong?
