Summary: A Bad, Bad Day
Comment: The book A Bad, Bad Day is about a young boy who has a really bad day. First of all he
wakes up late he bumps his head on his shelf then he does bot have time to eat breakfast.
Then he has to chase the bus down and he misses it so he has to get a ride to school. So he
gets to school hungry and with a head ake.
This book teaches that you should slow down a little bit so that you do not hit your head
on any thing and then make sure that you eat breakfast even if you are late breakfast is the
most important meal of the day.
The age level for this book is from four to about eight because after that it will be to easy
for you to read and it will be a very short book.

Summary: A Good, Good Book
Comment: My 4 year old daughter loves this book about a boy who has a tough time getting ready on time in the morning, just like her! With only 4-5 words/page, she can proudly read it by herself. It has a great message, too, that an awful day can turn around and be great.
The text is followed by a series of activity pages, such as finding rhyming words, that Genevieve also thoroughly enjoys doing with me.
I have two other fine books in the "My First Hello Reader" series, "My Messy Room" and "No Way!". In fact, I'm so pleased with them all that I'm buying any other ones in the series that I can locate. They're the best books I've found for helping Genny learn to read.
