Summary: Duh, this is, duh, funny.
Comment: "Three Dumb Bunnies" is dumb. But those who take a perverse pleasure in dumb stuff, who can imagine what their kids will enjoy as dumb stuff, will realize this book is just plain fun.Reading "Three Dumb Bunnies" and criticizing it as being pedantic and scatalogical is like asking why can't "Saturday Night Live" be more like "Masterpiece Theater."
Sometimes dumb is just plain fun. This is one of those times. My four year old giggled all the way through it. And that's good-- because it's *his* book, not mine (though I liked the silliness of it too)!

Summary: A BOOK FOR ANYONE WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR!
Comment: I admitt, when i bought this book for my kids, I was also buying it for myself. I looked forward to reading it to them, in fact I was excited to because I knew they would love it. It remains a favorite to this day of the family. Even if you don't have kids and if you have had a bad day, buy this book for those bad days because when you come home and read it, you'll atleast be smiling if not laughing! The dumb bunnies, ARE dumb..sophmoric sense of humor required!

Summary: Humor, parody, and lesson-teaching...
Comment: I feel as though I must address the scathing criticism of other posters. This book is a silly parody of other stories. It does not teach kids to say, "Duh." That is a sound that the father makes when he is actually being dumb. It does not encourage the child to do something after his parents have told him it was dangerous. Rather, it demonstrates the consequences of doing so and makes it appear "dumb" to do it. This book is about producing giggles from the unexpected and silly. My children absolutely love the gentle irreverence of it. It is not harsh or rude; rather it is charming and fun. I highly recommend it for any children, especially those who may not have developed a love of reading just yet.
