Comment: I got this book in Scotland last fall and my four year old son loves it. Mr. Grinling's wife packs his lunch in a basket and clips it on a wire that sends it from thier little white cottage to the light house on the rocks. Scavengiseagulls set upon the basket and devour Mr. Grinling's lunch. The Light house
Keeper and his wife think up ways to get rid of the gulls and save the basket of wonderful foods.

This book takes you through the troubles of a Lighthouse Keeper getting his hot lunch, that his wife would prepare for him, from his house on the rocky shore to the lighthouse by a clothesline. It is a suspensefull page-turning book for children of all ages.
