Summary: Bargain GN of Samson; good buy
Comment: "Samson: Judge of Israel" is the story of Samson(and Delilah) based on the bible. The story is short but not neccessarily concise, but still a book for someone who only has a passing understanding of the story of Samson because rated on it's own it's still a good book as a reference and knowledge.

The book as a whole is not bad, but not very good neither.Though, it still a fun and enjoyable to read.The biggest flow of the book is the story as i had said, is not concise.I found this out after reading the feature GN, because they include the whole text of the story of Samson excerpted from the bible. After reading the excerpts from the bible, I found out the storytelling is weak, it could done much better. Somehow the finished product, the feature which is the Gn itself is somewhat an abridged or shortened version of the story of Samson in the bible.The writer could have done better, because story lack cohesion when compared to the excerpts, a lot of important details which I think could and should be presented is lacking or could be enhance.Overall, the story , on it's own is comprehensive enough to gain a basic understanding of the story of Samson( Perhaps Im too fussy about the details).The art is also very good as well as the coloring which I think is an eye candy and fitting to the story.The passages from the bible included in this story as the caption and dialogue is good enough. It just could be squeeze in a lot more emotion,or the storytelling technique incorporating or showing a different forms or manners all together.

Still, it is a good buy, for only at $... per book, glossy paper,colored and 64 pages.It certainly could stand on it's own as a basic knowledge of the story. The additional text excerpts is a bonus.Not bad. Buy it.
