Summary: An informative book for both scholars and laypersons
Comment: Euan Cameron has written a very informed history of the Waldensian dissent, using a lot of prime source material in such a way that it is for scholar and lay persons interested in church history a delight to read. It is well written and makes delightful reading. It is anything but a dry summary of facts. Both from the perspective of faith and history, this is a good book. It gives good unbiased information about a very interesting group of people at a turbulent time in church history. I highly do recommend it.
